CALL FOR PAPERS
It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 9th Edition of the International Symposium on Occupational Health and Safety – SESAM 2019, scientific event which shall take place on October 3rd 2019, in Petrosani, Romania.
Founded in 1949, National Institute for Research and Development in Mine Safety and Protection to Explosion – INSEMEX is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2019, on this occasion continuing the organization of the International Symposium on Occupational Health and Safety – SESAM, along with the traditional co-organizers, namely the University of Petrosani and the Labour Inspection, and under the auspices of the Ministry for Research and Innovation, Academy of Romanian Scientists – AOSR and Academy of Technical Sciences in Romania – ASTR.
The International Symposium on Occupational Health and Safety – SESAM has become tradition and has gathered each edition important experts in the OHS field, researchers, academic staff and engineers from industries with potentially explosive/toxic/flammable atmospheres, aiming to be a forum for roundtable talks and exchange of ideas with the view to analysing, diminishing and preventing risks that occur during the work process.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Petrosani this October!

The Symposium will be held at the University of Petrosani, 20 Universitatii, 332006, Petrosani, Romania
LANGUAGES
The official languages of the symposium are English and Romanian.
Presenters must develop the slideshow presentations (PowerPoint) only in English.
